Ownership of the New Site

Postby johncav » Mon Feb 16, 2015 6:33 pm

There is a rumour doing the rounds that the proposed site for the new village hall will only be leased for the purpose and the freehold would be retained by the current owner. This is not true. We have asked the specific question and Mr Ainslie has replied, unequivocally, that the land will be a gift and that ownership will transfer to the Village Hall.

I hope that puts the rumour to rest.

Any more facts anyone would like to check?
